Bukit Unyang Hike


Bukit Unyang is a hill located within Taman Eko Rimba Kanching, Rawang and it offers trekking in the forest and beautiful waterfalls and all this happening near from Kuala Lumpur.
The trail starts from The Kanching Waterfall, which features seven tiers of waterfalls and connected and by hiking trails to Bukit Unyang. The lower tiers are easily accessible with paved walkways and stairs, while the upper tiers require more strenuous hiking through steep and rocky terrain. Along the way, hikers can enjoy scenic views of the lush forest and the cascading waterfalls and wildlife.
The trail passes through several rest areas, allowing hikers to take a break and enjoy the scenery. At the summit, hikers can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area, including the Kuala Lumpur city skyline in the distance. The return journey offers a chance to relax by the waterfalls, making this hike both adventurous and refreshing with beautiful waterfalls.

Itinerary
7:00 AM – Assemble at parking.
7:15 AM – Briefing & warm-up.
7:30 AM – Start hiking.
7:45 AM – Crossing bridge near Lata Tembusu (Waterfall Level 5).
8:05 AM – Enter trail
9:05 AM – Arrive at Viewpoint
10:15 AM – Target to reach summit.
10:50 AM – Start descending slowly and be careful.
11:20 AM – Arrive at Viewpoint 2.
11:45 AM – Return to Viewpoint 1.
12:15 PM – Return and Arrive at Lata Tembusu (Waterfall Level 5).
12:30 PM – Exit at Trailhead and Return to car park area. end of the hike & journey home.
